If your first thought was “Bananas”, look again. To the left of the photo you should be able to see a Bic Biro. Photoshop has not been used to alter the size of anything in any way.

They are Plantains, found in many parts of the Tropics. They are a relation of the Cavendish Banana, known as one of the world's most popular fruits. The difference? Bananas are small, soft and sweet and easily found in Tesco. Once peeled, plantains have a texture that is similar to a potato and they should be prepared and eaten in the same way.
